DL Series Precision Salt Spray Test Chamber(Touchscreen)

DL Series Precision Salt Spray Test ChamberTouchscreen

Особенности и применение

Overview

  • This chamber is designed to evaluate the corrosion resistance of various materials after they have undergone protective treatments such as spray painting, electroplating, anodizing, and rust-preventive oil treatment.

Standards Complied

  • GB/T6461-2002, ASTMB117, ASTMG85, ISO9227, GB2423.17, MIL-STD-810F, BS3900F4&F9, GJB360, GJB548, GJB 150, DIN50.021

Structure and Features

Interior of Test Chamber

  1. Spray Tower: Built-in glass nozzles are placed inside the spray pipe. The spray is directed through the tower tube and dispersed by a conical distributor into the interior of the chamber.
  2. Spray Regulator: Adjusts the volume of spray. Increasing the setting increases the spray volume, and decreasing it reduces it.
  3. Saltwater Preheating Tank: Located at the bottom of the spray tower, saltwater is injected into this tank from a saltwater refill bottle. The water level in the preheating tank is controlled by a float ball for automatic water level control. There is a drainage outlet at the bottom of the tank for cleaning, controlled by a silicone plug.
  4. Collector: The fog sprayed by the nozzles falls into an 80cm² funnel in a free-fall manner and then flows through a tube into a measuring cup. (For funnels of other specifications, calculations should be made according to this ratio.)
  5. Specimen Shelf: Made of plastic steel, the shelf can support a concentrated weight of no more than 2kg. When items are distributed evenly, it can support up to 10kg. There are upper and lower rows of round holes on both sides of the shelf for placing specimen rods to create vertical angles of 15° and 30°.
  6. Filter: Filters impurities in the salt solution to ensure that the nozzles are not clogged by debris.
  7. Heating Water Tank: Attached to the bottom of the test chamber, this tank is used to heat water and maintain stable temperature and humidity conditions during the test. Its functions include heating and temperature maintenance.

Peripheral Areas of Test Chamber

  1. Measuring Barrel: Collects the spray volume for each test.
  2. Sealed Water Tank: Utilizes the principle of water sealing to prevent leakage of salt fog.
  3. Saturated Air Tank: Placed at the bottom of the control box, this tank warms and humidifies the air, which then reaches saturation humidity before being sprayed through the nozzles.
  4. Saltwater Refill Tank: Automatically refills the salt solution in the preheating tank.
  5. Test Cover: A roof-style oblique viewing cover that covers the top of the test chamber to form an integrated unit.
  6. Pressure Regulating Valve: This valve is used to adjust the pressure in the test chamber when the air pressure is too high or too low, as indicated by the pressure gauge (test condition: 1kg/cm²).
  7. Pressure Gauge: The pointer on this gauge indicates the pressure achieved when air is heated through the saturated air tank and reaches the nozzles (test condition: 1kg/cm²).
  8. Exhaust Pipe: Connects to the outdoors to naturally vent fog, ensuring no water accumulation occurs.
  9. Drain Pipe: Allows wastewater to be discharged from here.

Characteristics of the Test Chamber

  1. Entirely constructed with PVC panels, the interior employs advanced three-dimensional reinforcement technology, resulting in a sturdy structure that remains deformation-free under environments below 80°C.
  2. Precision glass nozzles are used, ensuring no crystallization or blockage for up to 4,000 hours of operation.
  3. All control instruments are integrated onto a single panel, facilitating easy operation and clear visibility.
  4. Equipped with dual over-temperature protection and low-water level alerts, providing effective safeguards to ensure safe use.
  5. The test chamber utilizes direct steam heating for rapid temperature increase, reducing standby time.
  6. The spray tower is equipped with a conical diffuser, which directs fog, adjusts fog volume, and ensures uniform fog distribution.
  7. The pressure tank utilizes Henry’s Law for heating and humidification, providing the required humidity for the test chamber.
